TV Solutions

TV Ear Products

These are infrared TV listening systems that require a direct line of sight to the TV.

  • TV Ear 2.3 MHz - Covers mild to moderate hearing loss. Not recommended for severe hearing loss. Transmission covers 600 sq. ft.
  • TV Ears Original - Covers moderate to severe hearing loss. Transmission covers 900 sq. ft. This includes and microphone that can allow the user to have the microphone hooked up and lay by the TV speaker. This allows the user to hear what is going on in the room as well.
  • TV Ear Professional - Covers moderate to severe hearing loss. Transmission covers 2000 sq. ft. This unit comes with 2 headsets and a voice cord.

Sennheiser Direct Ear Set 820 - This unit has a 3.5 mm jack that allows the user to use with neckloop, earhooks or headset. This system does not require you to stay in line of sight of the TV. Approximate range 100 ft.

ClearSounds CLA7v2 Amplified Neckloop - This neckloop can be used with cellular phones, home/office phones, laptop computers, portable gaming devices, iPods, personal/TV listening equipment and other audio devices. Includes 4 cables (3.5 mm to 2.5 mm mono, 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm stereo, 3.3 mm to 3.5 mm mono, 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo). Offers 30 db max gain. Built in microphone. Works with t-coil setting of hearing aids.

Comfort Contego Communication System - (FM system that utilizes a neckloop and works with patients' t-coil setting of their hearing aids.) This system has a transmitter and receiver with both omni directional and zoom microphones. Volume can be adjusted on the receiver for both the receiver unit and the transmitter unit. The transmitter unit and receiver unit can be up to 75 ft apart. This system can also be used with headphones or earbuds. If you have a pacemaker, this may only be used with the headphone or earbud option - NO neckloop. Incredible product that can give added gain to patients that already have hearing instruments.

NoiZfree audio - These earhooks can be used with iPods, etc.

E-Scope II - This is an amplified stethoscope. Provides up to 50 db gain. There is a configuration of this device that allows the patient to use one of these with their hearing aids.

Loop Systems
Loop systems broadcast personalized sound to both of your ears at the same time. Therefore, listening to a good loop system is like having the speaker talking right into both of your ears at the same time. Unlike other systems, you do not have to wear anything extra in order to connect to, and use, a loop - no neckloops, wires, silhouettes, receivers or headphones.
